The TUM Graduate School is the award-winning, cross-faculty program for all doctoral candidates at the Technische Universität München. The university-wide graduate school has emerged from the IGSSE concept, strengthening the scientific and transferable skills of doctoral candidates via international and interdisciplinary experience.

Today, the IGSSE is the biggest of nine Thematic Graduate Centers joined under the TUM Graduate School roof.  All IGSSE doctoral candidates are therefore TUM Graduate School members and have access to seminars and courses that enhance the young scientists´ first steps as independent researchers and prepare them for leadership positions in both academia and industry.
